In 1950 Leland Grove formed a council and voted to incorporate. The council is comprised of six members each overseeing and representing their geographical wards. They discuss problems, listen to the concerns of the citizens and are dedicated to finding solutions to those problems and concerns. They make decisions for bettering the citizen's life and well being throughout the City of Leland Grove.
